My parish is a place of worship. I don’t understand what they say but I like going there every Sunday and playing with my friends.
The Church is basically a dedicated society for all Christians both young and old, to study the Word of God. Children learn about God in Sunday school. It’s not like my regular school where I feel I am burdened with studies …. In fact it’s a whole different world where I have lots of fun as I learn about our God through singing, dancing and various lessons from the Bible. I now know and firmly believe that my Lord loves me, cares for me, forgives me …. It’s a wonderful feeling that words cannot express. I also enjoy the time that I get to play a game of football with my friends and the youths!!!
We, believers, come every Sunday morning to worship the Lord together in the church. This has a different kind of power in it. That power and the unity that we have is what I like about it.
My parish is like a family to me who set an example of how to worship God. Everyone is friendly and caring, helping each other without judging. I like talking to my friends and playing freely.
I enjoy the enthusiastic participation of all during various days in our church. I especially enjoy the worship songs by the choir. I enjoy singing along during English service. I look forward to VBS in our church when my cousins and I spend a whole week together.
